As part of their science this term year 4 have been finding out about the structure of plants and flowers. This involved digging up dandelions…. They have learnt how seeds are formed and dispersed. They were especially interested in explosion and seeds travelling though the intestines of a bird and coming out the other end in their own manure!!!
Now they are planting seeds and bulbs ready to investigate conditions needed for growth.
