St Michael’s Weekly Post
4th April 2025
Year 1 and 2 had an amazing trip to the Winchester Science Centre this week! There was so much to see and do, from a minibeast workshop to the incredible planetarium. All of the exhibits were hands-on and they had great fun investigating sound, gravity, pulleys, topography, bubbles and so much more!
Cherry Class went out into the village to learn about road safety, learning the best places to stand on the pavement, safe and unsafe places to cross the road as well as hazards to look out for.
Thank you to Rvd. Sue Rodd for leading a beautiful Easter service in the church this morning, it was lovely to see lots of families there to celebrate with us. The children came back to school with mass excitement for the annual Easter egg hunt, looking for their egg drawings to exchange for the real deal!
We hope you all have a wonderful Easter break! We look forward to seeing the children back in school on Tuesday 22nd April.

As the weather continues to get warmer, can we please remind children to ensure they are still wearing the correct uniform, including black shoes or trainers and plain shorts to please be of a suitable length.
