Weekly Post – 14th February 2025

St Michael’s Weekly Post

14th February 2025

Hazel class celebrated 100 days of being in year 1 yesterday! They spent the morning making cakes, biscuits and pizzas as well as decorating bunting before hosting their parents for a party in the afternoon. They have been counting the days as part of their maths learning and they all had a great time celebrating finally reaching 100!

Rossco the snake has grown longer and longer over the past week and is looking so colourful with all of the children’s rocks – thank you all for getting involved in this lovely project raising awareness for Children’s Mental Health week and positivity in general!

Birch continued their learning about the history of flight this week. The children have loved learning about the Wright Brothers and Bessie Coleman and have had a wonderful time making planes, inside and outside, as well as making themselves pilot licenses.

We hope you all have a wonderful half term break and we look forward to seeing the children back in school on Tuesday 25th February.
