Rowan class have continued learning about Macbeth this week. After the three witches tell Macbeth that he’ll be king, we explored how Lady Macbeth tried to persuade her husband to kill King Duncan and steal the crown. We acted out this scene in lots of different ways to understand their characters even better: quietly as if no one would overhear their plotting, loudly as if they were arguing, as if they had to be still, as if they could move as much as they like! We also helped Macbeth to decide what to do, offering advice from both points of view before the class voted on what they would do in Macbeth’s shoes! It was a narrow vote!
