This week the children in Birch class were challenged to think about shape. They were given 18 lollipop sticks and were tasked with making a variety of different shapes. They experimented with making lots of different shapes using some or all of their sticks. Could they rise to the challenge and make lots of different shapes and use up all of their sticks? We had hexagons, octagons, pentagons and much much more!
