In Acorn class’s forest school session this week, we started learning all about birds. We made bird feeders to attract the birds to our forest, made our own bird spotting binoculars, read a story about different types of birds, and used our bird ID guides to see what birds we could identify. We also spent time counting how many different types of birds we spotted during our time in the forest-we were lucky enough to see two robins, a blackbird, several pigeons and a red kite! We submitted our data to the RSPB Big School Birdwatch and have received a certificate for our efforts!
