Rowan Class Residential: Day 2

Day 2 brought more amazing adventures, awesome teamwork and belly-laughing fun. The children have continued to be brilliant, tackling new challenges with great gusto and showing all those values we hold so highly at school. We couldn’t be more proud of them!

After an early morning wake up call and a scrumptious breakfast, some strangely familiar looking room inspectors arrived to look around the bedrooms – to be fair to the children, they were super-tidy; they did a great job and we had lots of giggles!

Then it was activity time. On today’s itinerary was the incredibly high climbing wall, water rollers, aeroball, hover boarding and an escape room challenge. The children (and adults!) had such an amazing time!

We finished the day with a St. Michael’s-style campfire.  It was so lovely to sit and talk and sing – sharing memories we have all made that will hopefully last a long, long time. (A special thanks should go to Miss James for leading our sing-a-longs! What a voice!). All children are now tucked up in bed after another action-packed day! What a fantastic bunch ‘Team Rowan’ are!

oarding and an escape room challenge!
