We had a fantastic time when we spent the day focusing on our DT STEM project all about building and controlling a motorised vehicle… We learnt about and built a chassis, measured carefully to ensure our axles worked and then built a circuit including a crumble controller which powers 2 motors. Next we created algorithms on our laptops which then controlled our vehicles. We finished the session in the school hall (too exciting to capture photographs, sorry!) where we programmed our vehicles to complete different tasks – it was amazing to see these engineers of the future in action!
