Birch and Hazel classes have had an incredible day at Ramsbury Estate! We learnt all about the crops they grow, watched oilseed being crushed, weighed ourselves on the weighbridge and then investigated the wild flower meadow! After a drink and a snack we headed off across the Estate to explore signs of WW2 in the woodlands all whilst keeping our eye out for endangered snails! We had a glorious spot for lunch overlooking the village of Ramsbury before heading off to explore the wildlife with our butterfly nets, magnifying glasses and homemade pooters! It was an absolute joy to see the children out and about in our wonderful countryside once more. Thanks to Alistair, Hazel, Duncan, Frosty and everyone at Ramsbury Estate for such a delightful day.
