Acorn, Hazel and Birch Class have enjoyed a wonderful Christmas themed Design and Technology day.
Levers were fashioned to create a pop up Christmas card.
Team work was needed to combine ingredients to make mince pies. All children enjoyed rubbing the ingredients together as well as mixing, rolling and using cutters to create their pies.
We swiped on the iPads to open an app and programme the Beebots.
Elsewhere in the school, groups were logging onto laptops and opening software to create snowy pictures and printing them, whilst others practiced running stitch to create Christmas baubles.
Finally, after a very busy day, we all enjoyed a well deserved mince pie together!
