Healthy Eating in Acorn Class

Acorn Class have been learning about “Growing!” and what food we should eat to help us grow healthy and strong. We have learned that protein foods make us strong, carbohydrates give us energy, fruit and vegetables give us vitamins so we don’t get sick, dairy foods help us to have strong bones and teeth and we should only eat sugary foods as a treat. In response to their learning the children have made pictures with vegetable prints, designed (and eaten) a healthy lunch and made funny fruit and vegetable faces
