Hazel Class had a wonderful time this afternoon asking questions to find out about the past. We invited older people from our families and the village to come and discuss their childhoods and how they might have been different to our own. We were so thrilled that so many people joined us and shared such interesting insights into how lives have changed.
We wrote and asked questions about food, holidays, travel, leisure time, schools and so much more. We learnt about the lack of sugar during the war, how children sat in cars without seatbelts and how formal school uniform was!
What a wonderful afternoon!
