Cherry class have been working exceptionally hard this week in RE exploring why do Christians call the day Jesus died ‘Good Friday’?
They have explored many parables thinking about the emotions joy, despair, sadness and hope. They then linked these emotions to the the Easter story which led them to write a Diary as if they were Mary during Easter week.
Because of their hard work, they enjoyed a special treat. The
children were delighted t
o eat a delicious hot cross bun! They really did deserve it!
