24th March 2023
Rowan Class demonstrated great sportsmanship during Wednesday’s Tag Rugby Festival with Marlborough College. All groups thoroughly enjoyed themselves and they won some of their matches.
The whole school welcomed Paula from Energy Sparks on Wednesday. Paula hosted an assembly all about reducing our energy and gas usage. This was followed by a workshop with Cherry Class and the school council. Children discussed and explored various ways of reducing their energy consumption at home and at school. Please click on the photo to see more photos and information on our blog.
There has also been lots of baking in school this week. Birch Class have made amazing hot cross buns whilst learning about the Easter story and Willows have made Easter biscuits.
Easter Service – 10:30am Friday 31st March
We would like to welcome our whole school community along to our Easter Service in Church on Friday 31st March at 10:30am. Children will be sharing their RE learning from this term and we will, of course, have our traditional rendition of Spring Chicken.
Request from Acorn Class
As a reminder, Acorn Class are learning about people who are important in our community such as police officers, nurses and firefighters and wonder if any of our parents, or their wider family would be interested in coming to school to talk about the their work. We can be flexible with dates so any time April – June would be wonderful.
