Year 4 and 5 visited Ramsbury Estate on Tuesday to plant the cowslips that they had so carefully prepared. On a beautiful bank overlooking Ramsbury, each class worked brilliantly in teams to plant their cowslips. Afterwards, they carried out some science experiments to test the acidity of the soil, learning that the soil was perfect for our cowslips to grow and become home to the Duke of Burgundy butterfly. It was such a fabulous day to have spent outdoors taking part in a hugely important conservation project!
