This week in Acorn Class, we have been learning about how Chinese families in China, the UK and around the world get together to celebrate Chinese New Year.
We have been busy making, building, drawing and writing for our new play project this week. Some children practised writing Chinese symbols, whilst others have been making Chinese dragons for their own parade and celebrations! We’ve been very lucky to have Suxia visit us in Reception for paper plate crafts for the Year of the Tiger and she taught us some Chinese.
We started our Forest School session on Tuesday by finding a quiet space in the woods, to have a still and relaxing moment to ourselves before getting stuck-in to our activities.
