We’ve had a great week in Birch, continuing our learning about the history of flight and much more! The children loved getting into character and imagining they were the Wright Brothers and embraced the excitement of the first petrol engine powered flight. We used key words in computing to search on Google for some interesting facts on places we’ve been learning about in Geography and we also learnt about decomposition and breaking down tasks into small parts. Our work in DT on wheels and axles has inspired many of the children to start making their own vehicles, with impressive results!
