It has been an amazing final day at Braeside for Year 5! It was a sleepy start but we had another magnificent breakfast – waffles and maple syrup! We then stripped our beds and said goodbye to our homes for the past three days.
We split into our groups once again, one group heading to the canoes, the other tried their hand at the leap of faith and climbing. The children showed so much resilience and overcome lots of fears as they threw themselves off the tall pole and climbed up the wall. Meanwhile. the canoers once again loved playing some games and spending some time on the water. Bar one canoe, who very nearly capsized, they all safely and dryly made their way back to shore.
After another delicious lunch, we said our goodbyes to the amazing team at Braeside. Thank you so much to all of the Braeside staff – instructors, kitchen staff, everyone – for making our experience such a special one.
