Birch Class in the summery forest!

Today we spent some time noticing the differences from last term.   Children enjoyed talking about the canopy being thicker and so it was darker in the woods, and how the cow parsley had grown to make secret pathways all through the woods.

Children were shown how to strip green wood with the butter knives, and to hapa zome leaves onto material. Both activities were enjoyed along with lighting the fire for hot chocolate.

Fun times!!
