In Acorn Class, we are really enjoying having our buddies from Oak Class visit us to share and read 500 stories or to listen to us read.
This week, some children have continued making maps and building very impressive small world structures. In the forest, we are reading a different traditional tale each week. On Tuesday, we listened to Little Red Riding Hood, which inspired some children to use clay to make the characters in the story and to create mud pies and cakes to take to Grandma, whilst others helped to prepare a hot drink using the Ghillie Kettle.
Today in PE, we have enjoyed a carousel of activities. The children had to concentrate really hard to make sure they got their feet in the right place!
Another busy week in Acorn Class!
