It’s been an especially sporty week in Year 6. We enjoyed an afternoon of diamond cricket with Year 5’s on Monday afternoon. Lots of high quality games were played but most impressive of all was the sportsmanship and good grace that children showed when they were bowled out or games didn’t go quite as well as they would have hoped for their teams.
Sadly, our plan to find out who might run this year’s Big Wheel was postponed by the bad weather. Instead, we began to learn the tricky percussion in the Cup Song, a challenge that we’ll come back to again over the next few weeks. Hopefully, we’ll perform it flawlessly as we reach the end of term!
Thank you, as always Year 6, for some amazing hard work. Some awesome learning has gone on this week!
