16th June 2023
We would like to say a huge “THANK YOU” to the team at Ramsbury Estate, who provided an amazing whole school trip on Thursday, at no cost to the school, exploring the great outdoors. The children and staff had a fantastic day orienteering, paddling in the stream, talking about the plant life cycle, bug hunting, drawing the truly beautiful countryside as well as a huge game of hide and seek. Please click on the photos to find out more on our school blog.
Rowan Class visited Marlborough College’s planetarium on Wednesday and learnt more about the constellations. Thank you Marlborough College for also providing another fantastic trip at no cost.
We are all looking forward to the PTA Summer Fair this afternoon, between 4:30pm and 7pm, on the school field and we hope you can all join us.

Fiver Challenge – Message from Oak Class
Oak Class have been taking part in the Fiver Challenge, a national project where children start with £5 to spend on their business and sell their products or services. The Fiver Challenge has inspired the children at St Michael’s to work hard to bring their business to life. We are holding a school market on the playground on Thursday 22nd June and Thursday 29th June, after school. Please join us to buy some tasty cakes, lemonade, get your car washed or get some chores done.
Brass Lessons
Next week, brass lessons will take place on Monday and Friday as Monday 26th June is a TD Day. Please make sure children have their instruments with them.
Sun Hats and Sun Cream
Please ensure your child has a named sun hat in school every day and sun cream is applied in the morning, before school. Children can have a named bottle of sun cream in their bags (for personal use), so they can top up their sun cream should they choose to.
