10th February 2023
Today, Winterbourne House Captains have hosted a wonderful house day to raise money for King George VI Centre in Zimbabwe. This is a school for deaf and disabled children and young adults, from the age of 3 to 20. Children participated in activities including a blindfold obstacle course, a dance and a mapping task. We hope by having this day the children at King George VI centre will know we care and the money raised today will make a significant difference to the school. Cherry class have also had an amazing day, taking part in a music project where they have had the opportunity to compose their own song, which they performed to the whole school at the end of the day.
We hope you have all had the opportunity to read Mrs Arkwright’s letter regarding some staff changes for Term 4.
Wishing you a wonderful half term break.

Message from Aldbourne Children’s Book Group:
We are looking for new committee members to join our wonderful children’s book group. In particular, we are looking for a new Secretary and a new Chair but a few more pairs of hands, in general, would be beneficial. Ideally, the parents would have children in KS1 or Reception and no experience is necessary. If you are interested in joining the committee, please contact Liz Nester – chairacbg@gmail.com, who looks forward to hearing from you.
