Having accompanied some of our Year 6 children to the dodgeball finals at the Wiltshire School Games today, the overwhelming emotion left with me is absolute pride! Not only did the team make their way to the final, losing narrowly to claim the silver medal, but they played with passion, respect, honesty and teamwork. So much so that 3 of our players were awarded ‘Games Wristbands’ for competing in the ‘Spirit of the Games’.
Each of the teams competing in The Games had already won their regi0nal tournament earlier in the year. Their achievements mean that they are the second best Primary dodgeball team in Wiltshire. What an achievement! We couldn’t be prouder of you all!
