Year 6 enjoyed a very interesting day at the Ashmolean museum last Wednesday, immersing themselves even more into the world of the Ancient Greeks. In the morning, we set off on some self-guided tours, exploring artefacts and art from not just the Ancient Greek world, but across the whole of human history. After lunch, we were shown many different Greek statues and were able to handle artefacts from coins, pots and even sofa legs! What a brilliant day we had!
