Today some of our Year 5 and 6 children took to the cricket pitch at the Marlborough Cluster Cricket Festival. Both teams played hard against some challenging opposition, each winning 2 of their three group matches. This resulted in both teams finishing second in their group, missing out on a semi-final place by just 2 runs!
The teams therefore qualified for a play-off match to decide 5th and 6th places in the tournament against….each other! A fitting end to a really fun day.
The children showed real determination, teamwork and sportsmanship! Good work guys!
