As part of our learning about materials and forces in Science, we rounded off our learning with a very exciting experiment this week! We had learnt all about different material’s properties and considered which would work well as shock absorbers. Having done this we wrapped up some brave eggs in these materials and tested our theories by throwing them off the the church tower! With help from Mrs Greaves and Mrs Parmiter, we watched with great excitement, as the eggs were thrown from the tower and eagerly unwrapped them to see if they had survived the fall. Some of our absorbent materials worked brilliantly, others unfortunately did not. We all had a great time and learnt so much!
