Another busy, sunny afternoon in the woods!
Before entering the woods we played a game of ‘get off my nuts’ where a squirrel is blind folded and the other squirrels have to try and steal the nuts without being heard. Lots of patience and small, quiet movements were needed to win the game!
Once in the woods the children enjoyed their favourite activities and we took some cocktail sticks for some conker art! The children used the tools to saw and shape their sticks today too.
Hot chocolate was popular as always and the highlight of the day was that a skull was found! Sadly for Mrs Godfrey and Mrs Sharp, the skull is now in the classroom for further inspection!
