Cherry have been very busy recently and working extremely hard. This week they want to share their highlights to you all.
Cherry have begun their Science unit exploring Electricity. They learnt that Electricity is an energy. This energy can be used to power electrical items such as toasters, kettles, cookers, televisions and computer tablets. Electrical energy is caused by electrons (the particles in atoms) moving about to make a current. Because of this, they were exploring static electricity with balloons. The excitement and fun the children had was lovey to see!
Also, in PE this week, Cherry Class for the first time in a little while got all the gymnastics equipment out and were able to explore. They had to work hard on their social cog to ensure they were working together, sharing, encouraging and supporting their peers. They did just that and way more! The support and encouragement they gave one another was phenomenal. Each and every child also challenged themselves and attempted to use equipment that they were nervous of.
