This week we have been thinking about starting points in art. We looked at some really famous works of art and then the first sketches that the artists did. It was really good to see and understand that even the very best artists need to take time to build up to a final piece.
We enjoyed spending some time doing some ‘quick sketching’ of objects. As the term goes on, we will be practicing our drawing techniques so that we can build up to our final piece….just like the artists we looked at today!
