Year 4 set off on an adventure today to discover the abandoned village of Snap. Having already planned our route in the classroom, we were looking forward to a day in the countryside. As well as locating Snap, we also enjoyed the beautiful wild flowers and met a few cows along the way. Most of them were well behaved….
After a lunch stop, the children really enjoyed exploring Snap. We found the old well and located some of the ruins of the abandoned cottages. In all we walked about 7 miles, so all should sleep well tonight!
