We’ve had a really lovely time in the woods during our first 2 sessions. We started by reading ‘We All Belong’ which tells us how even though we are all different, we all belong together… We will continue to focus on celebrating our differences over the next few weeks. The mud kitchen was very busy with children making delightful treats. Knives and saws were used to make spears and ‘Harry Potter’ style magic wands; dens were made and swings were swung on. In fact, after hot chocolate was made and the fire was extinguished, the adults were totally redundant as there was complete calm and focused play all through the woods – perfect.
