Rain does not stop play.

Wednesday saw St Michael’s finally able to open our new healthy hearts and minds track, and whilst the snow in the morning prevented us from opening it at nine o’clock,  a little bit of rain in the afternoon wasn’t going to stop us.

After lunch the whole school went up to the field where our oldest and youngest children had the honour of running the first section; this was followed by the whole school running with them.

A huge thank you goes to all the people who have supported us to get this project completed, in particular The Friends of St Michael’s, The National Lottery fund, Tesco Bags of Help token scheme and the Marlborough area Grant Board,  it will truly enable all our children to be active every day and set the groundwork for a lifelong love of physical activity.
