Birch and Hazel Classes have had a wonderful day imagining what it might have been like to be a polar explorer!
We were led through hazardous conditions blindfolded, navigated our way through an orienteering course as well as making a suitable shelter and creating a sledge to transport our food!
In the afternoon we set up our base camp by erecting tents and then entertained ourselves with games and pen and paper – no technology in sight!
We witnessed such fabulous team work and kindness throughout the day as we all worked together to tackle our challenges. Luckily we made it back safely in time for Celebration Assembly!
