We had another action-packed week in Rowan Class last week. As part of our English and History learning, we reimagined the Viking raid on Lindisfarne, thinking about how they would have approached Holy Island and how the monks would have reacted – do take a look at the video below! We then wrote some wonderfully atmospheric writing about this in our English lesson. In R.E we investigated Luke:24, looking at the importance of the resurrection for Christians; each group were given a different verse which they acted out to develop their understanding and we then invited Rev. Sue in to discuss our findings. As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our paired reading session with our friends in Year 2 – the children really do have a love for reading!
