Hazel Count Nature in the Churchyard

Hazel Class had a brilliant first day back with a special visit to the Churchyard to check out all of the animals that live there.

Emily had been busy the night before collecting moths and setting up mammal tunnels and little wildlife hotels to help us become nature detectives. We were amazed by how many different moths we saw and had loads of fun letting them go in the best spots around the churchyard.

We also spotted signs of hedgehogs—and even a few cheeky cats who must’ve popped by for a late-night snack!

Huge thanks to Emily for sharing her time and brilliant nature knowledge with us!
