Hazel Class have had a wonderful term in the forest. We have been learning lots of different tree names, we made crowns from leaves and even yarn bombed some trees by weaving beautifully coloured wool around the forest.
As well as the usual fun in the forest of the mud kitchen, the hammock and climbing trees, we have also been on an ‘ants treasure hunt’, where the children passed their found treasures along the line.
As always though, we have all thoroughly enjoyed the warmth of the fire, the tasty hot chocolate and toasting marshmallows to make s’mores.
