This week was our first session in the woods…and what a time we had!!
We started with the hoop challenge- all in a circle holding hands passing the hoop from one side to the other without letting go. Always a good warm up!
We discovered a fallen tree, which caused great excitement, and then it became just part of the forest. There was lots of exploring and noticing things that had changed since out last visits.
The children enjoyed using the tools to whittle sticks and there was lots of wood gathering for hot chocolate on the fire.
