Elder class enjoyed another incredible (but quite chilly) session in the forest. After trying to remember the names of some of our trees, this week’s activity was making head-dresses using at least three leaves they recognised and natural feathers. Creations ranged from beautifully simple to the spectacularly elaborate. There was lots of den building and using the woodwork tools before a well earned hot chocolate heated on the Kelly Kettle. We even had some rain from a cloudless sky…how strange!!
