Cricket, Tennis and an Archaeological dig- Cherry

This morning, Cherry class ventured out into the rain to learn how to play Cricket. They were practicing their fielding skills.

Once they had finished the children practiced their bat and ball skills in preparation for cricket.

After lunch, the children had an exciting experience visiting the Operation Nightingale dig! They witnessed all the findings they had uncovered and explored the current areas that were being dug up. They also learnt a lot about Aldbourne’s history and it’s relation to WW2!
