This morning Cherry Class went out into the village to learn about road safety. We were shown the best place to stand on the pavement, safe and unsafe places to cross the road, hazards to look out for and what the different lights on a car mean. We also did an experiment where we had to guess the distance it takes a car to stop when driving at 30mph. We were all very surprised to learn it was 23 metres!
