Wow! What a week Cherry Class have had!
On Wednesday we had a visit from the Aldbourne Heritage Group to talk to us about Romans. We had a look at lots of different artefacts including Roman coins, toys and pottery, mosaic tiles, replica helmets and shoes. Afterwards we enjoyed a carousel of activities where we made our own mosaics, Roman coins, drawings and much more.
Many thanks to the Aldbourne Heritage Group for giving up their time to come and talk to us. We had a wonderful afternoon!
On Friday we had a visit from Thinking Music and students from Bristol University, who spent the day with us performing and making music. We had great fun exploring musical instruments, musical games and coming up with our own ideas for lyrics for our own song! We are looking forward to their second visit in March!
