We’ve had a fantastic first House Day! Although the weather wasn’t on our side, we didn’t let the rain dampen our spirits or stop the fun.
Days like these truly capture what it means to be a pupil at St Michael’s—with creativity, teamwork, and kindness shining through in every activity. We began, as always, with sorting the children into their houses and then capturing them all in their groups.
Pupils then threw themselves into junk-modelling boats and collaborated on a stunning large-scale artwork depicting the sea and its many wonderful creatures. These creations will soon be displayed in the church as part of their upcoming Discovery Day, themed around boats.
We also sang sea shanties and braved the “treacherous seas” with the help of our brilliant OPAL equipment.
It really was a wonderful day, full of joy, imagination, and community spirit!
