Today, Cherry and Elder had the incredible Aldbourne Heritage Group take them for an extremely informative walk around the village. The children are exploring the topic “How did people/children entertain themselves a long time ago?”.
The wonderful volunteers led the children for a walk around the village, taking them to the popular places where people in Aldbourne would have created entertainment for themselves long before technology. We had dances, the may pole, parks, football, baseball, and much more. The children were very fascinated as many of the games or things they do today are very different.
