It’s been as busy as ever in Year 6 this week! We are all systems go in class at the moment, conquering angles in Maths and learning about the Viking raid on Lindisfarne in English, ready to write both a Viking and an Anglo-Saxon diary next week. It’s been a very scientific week this week too, thinking about different animals and their life cycles.
A real highlight though was our visit to nearby Manor Farm. We were so fortunate to be welcomed by the Brown family and to meet some of their new, four-legged arrivals. We learnt more about day-to-day life on the farm too, how they look after their herd of cows and about the huge variety of crops they grow.
As farmers or scientists, authors or mathematicians, Year 6 have shown so much hard work and perseverance this week – a group of absolute superstars!
