St. Michael’s Weekly Post – For Week Beginning 20th May 2019

St. Michael’s Weekly Post – 20th May 2019

17th May 2019

Art Week:  Next week the whole school will be involved in our Art Week.  Over the week each class will be  creating mosaics, bug hotels, rain chains and ceramic flowers, which will be an integral part of our new exciting garden design running which will be running alongside the outside of KS2.  We would really like help with these projects, no artistic flair necessary.  This is a fun week.  We would like everyone to be part of these projects.  The children will be taking part in these activities all week so if you have a day, half a day or even an hour when you could join us, then please let the office know.

Years 5 & 6:  Years 5 and 6 will be visiting the Living Rainforest on Monday 20th May. Please check your ParentPay account to pay for this trip and to give consent for your child attend.

Operation Nightingale:  On Wednesday 22nd May and Thursday 23rd May children will be visiting Operation Nightingale, an archaeological dig to find the remains of the huts used by the American Band of Brothers in Aldbourne. We would love some volunteers to join us and help walking the children across the village to the football field.  If you can help please let the office know.
