Sport Enrichment Days: On Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd July all children will be taking part in our Sport Enrichment Days. Please can children come to school in PE kits, ensure they have a hat, water bottle and sun screen applied before school. There will be a charge of £4 for this event to cover the cost of the external coaches. Please support us by paying £4 on ParentPay.
Medicine: If your child has medicine in school, please can you come in to the office and collect it on Wednesday 24th July.
Wiltshire Parent Carer Council: The Short Breaks Bulletin for children with special educational needs during school holiday periods is available to view in the entrance to the school.
Lataca: Please order your school lunches for Term 1. The menu can be viewed on the Lataca website and you can order online at https://www.lataca.co.uk/aldbourne-st-michaels-primary-school-dinners.html. Paper order forms can be found in the entrance of the school.
Volunteers: If anyone can come in and help paint classroom boards black on the 22nd and 23rd July, please can you let Mrs Lambert in the office know.
St Michael’s Rainscape Gardens: Our Rainscape Garden is starting to take shape. We now have new trees and plants donated from a display at Hampton Court Flower Show, and our volunteers have been working very hard in the recent heat. More volunteer days have been added. Aldbourne and Music and Song Festival: If your child would like to sing on the opening night of the 2019 Aldbourne Music and Song Festival please complete and return the reply slip. Emma Gardner and Gill Farkas-Blake will be on The Green at 7pm for the concert to begin at 7.30pm. School uniform is not required.
ParentPay accounts: Please check your ParentPay account to ensure any outstanding balances are paid by the end of the summer term. If you have any queries, please speak to Mrs Hamilton or Mrs Lipscombe to clarify any outstanding balances.
Summer Reading Challenge: Take part in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge running in Wiltshire Libraries from the 13th July to 7th September 2018. For ages 4 to 11 years with free access to books with fun, creative activities in the library during the summer holidays. For more information visit https://summerreadingchallenge.org.uk/
