There’s lots to buy and do, so bring all your family and friends for what’s going to be a great afternoon.
Year 5 and 6 Greek Day: As you know, the children have been learning about the lives of the Ancient Greeks. We have prepared an Ancient Greece museum and we would like to invite you to visit! You will be able to explore numerous exhibits, from pottery to Greek food, ably shown around by the excellent tour guides from Year 5 and 6.
The museum will be open from 2:30 to 4:00 on Thursday 13th December. We would love for all of the children to take on their roles as tour guides, so the children will need collecting later than usual. I’m sure that you will understand that they have a vital part to play in the successful running of this museum! If this is an issue, please let Mr Pavey or Mr Jarvis know.
We look forward to welcoming you to our Ancient Greek museum!
Wyvern Theatre Trip: Our exciting annual trip to the pantomime is on the 19th December. Please ensure you have given consent on ParentPay for your child to enjoy this amazing whole school experience. Thank you to the Friends of St Michael’s School who subsidise the cost of the coach
Dogs on school grounds: Please do not bring dogs into the school grounds even if they are carried. Thank you for your co-operation.
Choir and Brass Ensemble: Please ensure you have returned permission slips for upcoming events to the blue post box outside the office.
Christmas Cards: The school postbox will be open from Monday 17th December. If children wish to send a Christmas card please could they wait until the post box is open. Please can cards have the child’s full name and year group on the envelope.

Message from Sue Rodd:
HUGE thanks to Kennet House – and everyone else – for your support for the KGVI School for Deaf & Disabled Children in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe! The money raised will help care for these amazing children and keep them in school.
Also, many thanks to those who came and helped make Christingles last Saturday; the extras went down to the Nursing Home on Wednesday, and were much appreciated!
