St. Michael’s Weekly Post – 22nd May 2020

22nd May 2020

Dear Parents

The staff team and I would like to thank you all for the effort and engagement you have shown to support your child at home this term. It was lovely to see so many children take part in the Heritage group question and answer session this week, we have also enjoyed many class Zoom get-togethers over the past few weeks. If you haven’t already, please do take a moment to look at the school website to see what the school community has been getting up to – there are some wonderful things on there.

As previously mentioned, we will not be setting any home learning for next week and we hope that you can all enjoy a break over what would have been our half term holiday!

We have sent a separate letter home detailing the information for the children in Reception, Year 1 and 6 who can return to school on the 1st June, assuming that the Government proceed with their outlined plan.

We are very sad that we can’t welcome back all our children and will miss seeing you at school. The home learning packs will continue for Years 2, 3, 4, and 5 and for the children in Reception, Year 1 and 6 who are not returning to school on the 1st June. They will be shared via Class Dojo on Friday 29th May. Our topic for Term 6 is ‘All Creatures Great and Small’.

Keep healthy and stay safe.
