16th September 2022
Year 5 (Rowan Class), have returned from their 2 night adventure to Grittleton House. They were so fortunate to have had dry weather so were able to make the most of the outdoors. Mr Jarvis, Miss Gandolfo and Mrs Parmiter have said a big “well done” to Rowan Class. They were so pleased as the children gave everything a go and were such great classmates, supporting one another.
As a reminder, Monday is an additional Bank Holiday to mark Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. School will be closed and we hope this will allow families and staff the opportunity to mark this moment of history as they choose.
Year 6 (Oak Class) will be going on their residential trip next week to Rockley, where they will undertake an array of water sport activities. We know they will have a fantastic time together. As Miss James and Miss Wood will be accompanying Oak Class, along with Mr Pavey and Mrs Maslin, Cherry Class will be taught by Mrs Budd with Mrs Kench supporting her.
KAPLA Workshop
Next week, all children in school will be taking part in an amazing KAPLA workshop. Each class will work on a specific construction to create a large-scale exhibition unique to our school. You are warmly invited to visit the display from 2:45pm on Friday afternoon – full details will follow next week via Weduc.
